I am glad to have finally found a place to post a blog! I haven't tried before, nor looked, but always thought, "someday, I'd like to do that." So I'm excited about this!
Here we see Miss Lacey. She loves to help in the kitchen. We were making biscuits for a casserole when she licked the bowl clean. (ick!) What a cutie!
Today is Halloween, so we are planning to bake pumpkin tarts from scratch (yummy!) and I need to alter Korbin's costume. (We got it a little too big.) Korbin is going to be "mutt" from Indiana Jones. Unfortunately, I haven't seen the movie, so I really have no idea who that is. Kailyn and Lacey are wearing these cute victorian-style pink princess dresses. Maddox will be a knight. THAT one is cute! We plan to trick-or-treat for the 1st time in our new neighborhood. We closed on our house 2 years ago on Halloween, and last year we trick-or-treated with some friends in their neighborhood. I'm excited to see how many kids we have trick-or-treating here this year. We live on a street of primarily singles and older couples, so we don't know very many kids. That is one disadvantage of homeschooling, I suppose, is that we don't know any neighborhood kids. At the same time, I probably wouldn't know them anyway, the kids would. Seems like we have mostly girls yet again here. Poor Korbin! :)
